When your cold and having one also your body is taking IN the salt more than the flavor
When you can not breathe, clogged up are some pores and body is trying so hard to maintain its function. The tongue is full of holes and buds that seem to go bland and you taste just the salt or chicken broth that you need so badly. The hotter the food like soup and more of gets you the greater recovery and with speed. The mucus is the bad and needs to come out and broken down. It is the bad and the body saying no more in a way.
food taste good so you starve
They taste good hot.
food that taste good.
Because odor determines flavor and when you have sinuses in your nose the flavor is distorted or misread and sometimes the food tastes bland or nasty.
The conclusion of the question "does smell affect taste" is that smell plays a significant role in how we perceive taste. Smells from food travel to the olfactory receptors, which can enhance or even change the perception of flavors. This is why food may taste different when we have a cold, as our sense of smell is reduced.

If the food looks good it will probably taste good, and visa/versa

The Bitter taste is frozen, which releases the good taste, altho room temp water is VERY HEALTHY for you.
It is not normal to feel cold after eating. If you feel cold or chilly after consuming food, you may be suffering from low blood count, low blood pressure or iron deficiency. It would be a good idea to see a doctor for a check up.
It can be bad for you but taste good... It depends on how much you put in your food.
