Some glasses break when you pour boiling water in it. To avoid that make sure you read a label that comes with that glass saying it can withstand boiling water or not.
Glass doesn't crack on a high note, every rounded piece of glass has it's own high frequency and when played back to itself makes the glass shatter. You can get the sound by getting a pint glass and wetting your finger, pushing down and making a smooth fast motion around the rim.
Glass does not typically "break" at any temperature. If you want to be technical, the melting point of glass is 2600-2900 °F. Now, another important and relevant fact is that when things are hot, they grow very slightly larger due to their molecular composition. When something is very hot and is suddenly made much cooler, it will quickly shrink back to normal. When fragile things like glass are cooled down too fast, the shape change is enough to crack or break them.
A fast change in temperature same reason boiling water will freeze if its below 32 and you throw it in the air.
You need to know the area of the glass, its span, how it is supported, and how thick it is; also you need to know the stiffness of the tennis ball; so this is a complex problem.
Thermal shock. As one part of the crystal expands quicker than the other (the inside and outside), they will eventually tear apart and cause the cracking. If it occurs fast enough, it may even make the glass explode from the stresses applied.
boiling water
it is boiling
Yes It does break your fast for a short answer.
If the glass is warm then you can, however when I put boiling water into a cold glass it smashed so ... Yes you can put boiling water into a glass, just not a cold one (Y) Yes... but if the room (and the glass) is cold, expect bad results... You might get lucky though... When I have a cold, I mix the cold medicine with hot water in a glass, and only once in my life has the glass ever smashed in those circumstances... I rarely put hot water into glasses otherwise...
Morning walk ,Two glass of water before break fast and take one apple daily day time
No, the water's molecules are moving too fast at its boiling point to freeze.
Fast Break's birth name is Richard Williams.
