Why does it seem that almost all the employers in the warehousing and logistics field require a business degree or engineering degree when that has nothing to do with warehousing or logistics?

Perhaps you are unaware of the Golden Rule: He who has the gold makes the rules. They get more applicants than they need. Requiring a business degree allows them to narrow down the field. If they skip over an otherwise qualified candidate, so what? There are three hundred others just as good that do make the cut.
