the seal/seals on the top of your fuel pump- located in your gas tank may be leaking. if it only smells when you fill up- try only putting in 3/4 of a tank- and see if it still smells. there are 2 lines coming out of the pump that need to be sealed or they will leak when the tank is full- need to either replace the pump - or use some sealant like seal-all- still need to pull the tank which is pretty hard, but nuts and bolts type of stuff. the pump line runs under the back seat and you need to lift it up to unplug the pump
