This is a hard question to answer without more information.
-If it seems like the truck isn't engaging in the correct gear then I would check the shift solenoid which is know to go bad in that transmission.
-If it seems to be a lack of power then you can check all kinds of things, some of the things that I have noticed that make the truck run better, including drive power from start are the EGR valve being cleaned, oil (both the 2.2L and the 3.2L burn oil), new spark plugs (only use NGK in this engine, not sure why, but the other brands seem to lose power in this engine), ensure that the coil packs are all installed tightly, I've seen a faulty O2 sensor stall the engine as well.
There are so many things that can cause a vehicle to shutter when taking off that it is hard to determine without more information.
I've read around $800-$1k if you take it to a shop..
55
Take it to a mechanic!
my manual says for a 3.2l v6 with a new filter it takes 5 quarts
take the cap off and roll another rodeo under it
Take it to a service shop.
hammer and sledge
5 with new filter
there isn't one you have to take it to transmission shop and have them chek it for you
Not long at all should take no longer then 5 mins
between the front wheels easy to take off and put back on but you do have to remove one screw from the heat shield to get it out it is very small cheaper to have overhauled than to replace.
Take old spark plugs out put new spark plugs in
