Why does my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville speedometer read kilometers?

on my 2002 Bonneville it has three buttons above the radio. One says e/m, another is the tire press reset button and the last one is thw trip set button. The e/m button must have been pushed. push it again it should go back to the normal readings.
