This depends on the color of smoke it is making. Blue smoke probably means that your engine is burning oil and is in need of a rebuild. If it is white smoke it means there is water or coolant getting into your engine which may mean that the head gasket is leaking.
if you get blue smoke only when you start it the valve seals are bad. if it blows blue all the time. the piston rings are bad.
no
All 350's will bolt up to a 2004r if it has the Chevy bolt pattern.
No difference in the engine. It is all in the trans and the rearend
All 350's are internally balanced.
Yes people do it all the time and thay look good in there.
The Chevy 350 does not have a timing belt, It has a timing chain. If you are wanting to know where to set the timing, then I need to know the year of the engine. Thay are all different.
They are all the same size.

First of all....a 350 Chevy is a small block. To answer your question...No. The only transmission a Chevy will bolt to is another Chevy. Only BOPC are interchangeable with each other. At least the old ones anyway.
