Why does my automatic warehouse door go up but does not come back down?

Check for the mechanical. On the wiring site, it has different cables for up and for down, but same hardware (just switch the phase, then motor got different rotation). So if mechanical is okay, check the cables wiring

∙ 8y agoWarehouse doors use limit switches to turn the motor on and off. These switches are up in the motor unit. There is also a limit safety switch on the bottom of the door. It is used in case an object is left in the door travel area, the door will touch the object and then return back up to the full open position.
Check the timing on the limit switches to make sure that they have not changed position. Particularly check the up limit to make sure that it is closed on the full up position. In this closed position it is then ready for the down position. If the switch is in the open position the door will not come down.
