Why is your cat pooping and peeing randomly on the floor?

Sometimes, it can be a sign of health problems. If your cat is healthy, it's probably more of a behavioral problem. Can you think of anything she might be upset about like a change in litter? Some cats are finicky about things like that and will show that they're not happy by pooping outside their box.

4. He might be ill and having pain when he goes or could be irritable bowel syndrome. (If you eliminate the other reasons, take him to the vet.)

Could be several things. Has it been trained to use the litter box? Is the litter box in an easy place to get too? Do you have more then one cat but only one litter box? (Cats like their own) Is the litter box dirty? You can also try switching to a different litter, some cats can be picky on how it feels/smells
