The lining in your nose is composed of erectile tissue (similar to the tissue found in sexual organs). When you have a cold (or other condition which aggravates the lining, such as hayfever), the blood vessels swell up as infection-fighting white blood cells flood to the area. This narrows the air passage in your nose and restricts the airflow as you breath.
Many possibilities. Fuel flow problem (fuel pump, clogged line, fuel injectors) Contaminated fuel. No spark or weak spark (bad plug, wires, electronic ignition module) No air flow (Clogged intake, clogged filter) Bad timing belt/chain (I can't remember which one a '93 has).
Possibilities include bad spark plugs (doubtful), bad spark plug wires, clogged fuel filter or fuel line or fuel injector, bad fuel pump, bad fuel injector, bad gas, clogged exhaust, clogged air filter (doubtful). I think clogged fuel injectors or dead fuel pump may be most likely but who knows, you have to either take it to a pro for diagnosis, or do the diagnosis yourself. One very simple thing you can try is starting the car with the accelerator pedal pushed firmly ALL THE WAY DOWN to the floor. This can clear a clogged fuel line or injector, you have nothing to lose so give it a try.
