it could be your altenator, which will do that no matter how many times you replace the battery.
In my case I have a 1999 SL1 and the clicking sounds where the relays for the electric door locks. I removed them and I have not have the battery drained. I have not replaced them yet.
When you hear a clicking noise is most likely a battery problem however you stated that the battery was replaced so i suggest you check the condition of your cables look for rust or corrosion etc.
The alternator is not charging the battery, therefore, the coil is getting it's charge only from the battery.
Voltage regulator or loose wire.
battery need to be at lease 14 volts to be able to start
It could be a starter problem....can you tell where the click is coming from? is it the started clicking, or a relay clicking?
Check it right at the battery with a volt meter.
Check under the back seat.
Charge or replace the battery.
It means something is wrong with your charging system. Can be a loose of corroded battery cable, defective alternator or a battery with a dead short.
If there is clicking, that means the car has power from the battery so the altenator and the battery are good. I would suggest that the starter is gone bad. It will eventually grind away to where there is no clicking.
