when they are exposed to oxygen the apples become a brownish color and become softer and dryer than before. if you want your apples unspoiled for a period of time, get one of those green bags and wrap them with it. the green bag is made out of a material where oxygen wont pass through for a long time. if you want more answers leave them to me and i will answer them.

spoilage happens because when food goes bad it gets covered by bacteria which causes food to spoil and rot !!!!!!!!1
