I have the exact same year, model etc. The high beam doesn't have a switch.. You pull the blinker switch towards you. That is how high beams work on this car. The slider bar located near the lights dims and brightens the dash board lights.
That all depends on the problem your having and grand ams are full of electrical problems.
Sounds like an electrical problem. Only way to determine is to take it to a reputable shop and have them dignosis the problem.
if the radio is not working in a 2007 Pontiac g6 sdn what is the problem
Electrical "Problems" Following Replacement of AlternatorUsually this is an indication that the electrical wiring system is "screwed up."Either there was an existing problem, leading to the need to replace the alternator, OR whoever changed the alternator screwed up the wiring.
Most probably your problem is the DRL module. Replace it before it catches fire like mine did. Good luck.
Diagnose it, and make your repair based on the diagnosis. The problem is most likely electrical... start with any fuses and relays, and work your way from there.
On a '93 Ranger there is an independent fuse in the underhood power distribution center just for the highbeams. Check continuity if it is good, you may have 2 other possibilities. Either the highbeam capsule bulbs are burned out or you have a problem with the highbeam multifunction switch. !!
Why does my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, with a 2.4L engine, run rough at idle but runs normally when placed in neutral? I changed the plugs and air filter, but the problem continues.
maybe its u or da car
check your coil it could be warming up and expanding inside might be internal crack
Just replaced the headlight bulbs in a 98 Grand Cherokee that had the same problem. It had the wrong bulbs in it. It had 9007's in it. Calls for 9004's.
Take it to a paintball field and have it looked at. Or be specific about he electrical problem.
