all of the BMW "k" engines will smoke on startup from time to time. It's due to the lay down engine configuration. The cylinders are parallel to the ground and arranged front to rear. So, the cylinder head runs fore and aft down the left side of the bike. When parked on the side stand or kick stand, a small amount of oil can push past the rings/valve seals and enter the combustion chamber. When the engine starts, this small amount of oil burns and smokes pretty bad for a few minutes. It may do it once a year or once a week. There is no pattern. The way to eliminate it is to use the center stand only. The k engine has done this since released in 1983. We say, the possibility of the engine doing this is relative to the number of people standing around your bike.
White smoke at start up is due to moisture in the exhaust or on a diesel it can be normal due to the engine being cold.White smoke at start up is due to moisture in the exhaust or on a diesel it can be normal due to the engine being cold.

To jump start a 325i BMW open the hood and locate the battery. On the battery you will find a positive and a negative sign. Take your red cable and clamp it to the positive post on the battery on the support vehicle and then do the same on BMW. Take the black cable and clamp it onto the support vehicles ground post, then connect to the ground post on the BMW. Start the support car and let it run for a few minutes to build up the BMW's battery some. After waiting a few minutes then try to start the BMW, once started remove the cables from both cars and close the hoods.
The best way to get up to date information on BMW lease rates is to contact BMW. They will have all their contact details online, so i would start there first.

A bad fuel injector can cause your 2004 Toyota Camry to smoke when you start it up. A plugged air filter can also cause it to smoke.
If your 6.5 Chevy diesel smokes white smoke when you first start it up, it could just need warming up. It could also indicate an issue with the motor.
The blue smoke is blow by on start up. The piston rings are still cold and when they start to get older, they take a few moments to warm up and expand to create a good seal and stop the escaping oil. It is pretty common when cars get up in the years and is not a huge issue.
