the eniac and other computers like to give off so much heat because they use thousands of vacuum tubes that took up lots of space and gave a great deal of heat just like a light bulb does.

The computer has changed in thousands of ways but I will just name a few: Calculation that used to take minutes now take just a few milliseconds or seconds, we can use the computer as a way to communicate, the computer is much much much smaller compaired to the ENIAC which weight 30 tons, the computer is also portable now, and the computer is so much easier programs were made to be quick and easy.
