The reason it frustrates me, is because, I was born, and raised here. I bust my but in life, and as an "average" 28 year old male trying to go back to school, all my state wanted to give me for help was, $150!! That's it! I'm not saying that I'm entitled to anything. But when I had fresh immigrants in the classes next to me getting everything school/housing related(and I'm sure much more), for free, I get pissed off when I have to take out tons of student loans to cover my schooling.
I barely make enough to live, but I made too much for any "free" money, even though my taxes get put towards schooling, and more.
I'm glad their bettering themselves, but pissed at the whole situation. Let them work their butts off to pay for it.
