One of sensors (I don't remember which one) ticks when it operates. Many Eclipse users have the same "problem". As far as the sensor does not throw any codes or causes the engine to run rough there is nothing to worry about.
If the tick is bothering you, you will have to replace the sensor to fix it.

sae 10w 30 that what the manufacturer recommends
Valvoline 10W-30 Synthetic Blend
5w-30 unless you live north of maine, then you use 10w-30
simply disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and it will reset all of your learned fuel trims in your ecu
You can call Mitsubishi and ask them for the code. It's free. You can go to a dealer, but they will make you pay. Or you can purchase the code online ($20-30).
ive got 1995 eclipse gs, with aircondition. 9,77ltr /100km 95oct fuel. 30% city driving 70% highway 120kmh /80mph -TRI-
5W-30 should work fine. It's what I've been using.
Alot of the times you can disconect the positive terminal from the battery and leave it off for 30 minutes or so then put it back on
5W-30 should be sufficient all year round. If you live in a very cold area geographically - 10W-30 might be better. But 5W-30 will be your best bet. Hope this helps.
