If you compare the 7.3L Powerstroke to the 5.9L Cummins, I'd say equal quality. If you compare the 6.0L Powerstroke to the 6.7L Cummins, Powerstroke loses. If you compare 6.4L Powerstroke to 6.7L Cummins I'd say equal quality for that one too. The new 6.7L Powerstroke produces more power than the 6.7L Cummins and it is supposed to be the best Powerstroke engine ever. The warranty has been extended from 100,000 miles to a 125,000 miles! I'm so excited about this new Powerstroke. Ford says it is designed for an easy 300,000 miles. I don't know. Only time will tell if the 6.7L Cummins is better than the 6.7L Powerstroke. The cummins would defeat the powerstroke no its the other way around you have no idea what your are talking about because the power stroke would kill the dodge there is no power in the dodge
no a powerstroke is the biggest peace of S H I T. cummins is the best diesel there is.It can also depend on the year of the motors. The powerstroke 7.3 turbo diesel is a very strong motor that has done very well for Ford. The 6.0 powerstroke on the otherhand has done very poorly for Ford. The cummins also gets better fuel mileage than the powerstroke by around 5 mpg's just as a stock motor, but power adders will afect that. In my personal opinion i would would take the cummins over the powerstroke.
Most people say that Cummins is the best diesel engine but not with the new 6.7L offered in Dodge Ram trucks. The Ford Powerstroke Diesels put out more power than the Cummins by 40 horsepower and 85 pound feet of torque. Also, the new 6.7L Cummins engine has been known to overheat, stall, and the turbos are blowing in them at around 30,000 to 40,000 miles. The Cummins can't idle for more than 6 minutes or it will overheat and shut off and you must take it to the dealer to get the problem fixed. Let's compare. 6.4L Powerstroke diesel does not overheat, does not stall, but there ARE turbo problems with them. But that is no problem with the new 2011 6.7L Powerstroke diesel. As for Duramax, they've always been behind in quality but not power. So I'd say, here in 2010, that Powerstroke is the BEST diesel engine available in a pickup truck.
Their injection pump is set too rich, and lets more diesel into the engine than the engine can burn. The partially/badly burned diesel is what comes out as black smoke.
Durability depends upon items not breaking or needing replacement. A cummins (6bt-like the ones in Dodge trucks) are of an inline design which by the nature of the beast has fewer parts-ie 6 pistons instead of 8 (Ford Powerstroke) which means less fuel injectors which means less...Basically if the two brands were put to a test the Cummins would have fewer parts to break than the Powerstroke. However, durability also must extend to the rest of the drivetrain ie- transmission, transfercase, axles, etc. As such one must consider all possibilities when deciding upon a truck. yes a 5.9 cummins is bett than a derimax because it lasts longer, produces more horsepower, and torque, plus their the only engine that is a manual.
Cummins recomends no more than 5% bio diesel.
no on average men smoke more then women
I looked this up and the recent trends in smoking using graphs showed that males smoke more then females. I think....... I'm not sure. Yes. Females do smoke more.
No.
Wood smoke is much worse than tobacco second hand smoke. Wood smoke contains more than twelve times as many carcinogenic compounds, and is chemically active up to forty times longer in the lungs than tobacco.
yes if you smoke more than 4 oz
