the drivers window gets used the most and usually the switch needs replacing but once in a while the motor is bad. ==another answer== You don't say if the window will eventually go all the way down or not, or if you have the same problem with it going back up. My '96 passenger window works about the same way, although it seems to go down a little further with one "hit" of the switch than it does up. When I try to put it up, it moves about 1/4 inch or less, then stops. If I wait for a minute or two, it will go up another 1/4 inch. (or less) My answer is to not use the window. However, I've read somewhere online, that the motor has a thermal switch inside which kills power to the window if the motor gets hot. The suggestion was to make sure that there was nothing binding the window inside the door panel, or to make sure that there was no window tinting material wrinkled and binding. The binding would cause the motor to overheat. Failing that, they suggested replacing the motor.
check for the relay it maybe bad it has left and right
Try replacing the bulb. It's not a terrible job. Another thing to check is for a bad ground connection.
usually on the driver side door
If the driver's side works it is probably a broken linkage or wiper transmission problem not a fuse
It is possible for hot air to be coming out of the driver's side and cold on the passenger's side if there is a dual temperature control on the heater/AC unit. Try adjusting the temperature controls to see if that fixes the problem.
had same problem; check switch on driver side ., if it operates the passenger side ok, then just replace the driver side window switch .. $20 part from the dealer.
for the driver - there will no coverage. For the passenger the same as well. It is your responsibility as a passenger, to be sure that the vehicle you are driving in is INSURED, always.
Yes. If the passenger is hurt in an accident caused by the driver, the passenger is fully entitled to sue the driver. In fact even if the passenger is a spouse of the driver, the passenger can sue.
Driver's side became standard in 1990, driver/passenger became standard in 1994.
That sounds like a blend door problem.
The side of the driver's door on my 2002 Pontiac sunfire is a little hard to read, but I believe it says 30 PSI.
