The tension on a 1988 Ford F150 can be loosened by adjusting the belt tensioner. The retaining bolt is loosened, the tensioner shifted slightly, and tightened down.
The 2008 Ford F150 doesn't have a vent window. They do come with a Vent visor so that you can roll your window down a little bit without being in the elements, a replacement will cost you about $50.
Imagine a straight line directly down from the center of the distributor. The oil pump is in the bottom of the engine and straight down from the distributor.

It goes from you speedometer down you engine bay to the transfer case (if that's a 4X4) or into your transmission (4X2)

down the right side... starting front to back 1,2,3,4 left side, front to back 5,6,7,8,

can unhook the battery cable over night and it will run good for a little while
pull down the tailgate and the screws to take off the tail light cover. pull that off and it is the bottom bulb
