You don't say whether or not the car is still running. A fuel pump will only run as long as it takes to bring the fuel system up to pressure and then stop. This is normal. If the engine is not running because there is no fuel, there is either a blockage, bad pressure switch or the fuel pump itself is bad.
1993-1995 Del Sol S = 9.2 seconds 1995-1997 Del Sol S = 8.7 seconds 1993-1995 Del Sol Si = 8.2 seconds 1995-1997 Del Sol Si = 8.3 seconds 1994-1997 Del Sol DOHC VTEC = 7 seconds 1995-1997 Del Sol SiR (Japan only) = 6.7 seconds
No, There is only one and it is inside of the fuel tank.
Clogged fuel filter or weak failing fuel pump.
sounds like a bad module.
No, it has only one.
Yes, but for some reason mine only turns on when I'm completely out of fuel.
there is no fuel filter (per say) there is only the sock in the tank on the bottom of the pump
My trans am did something like that, only thing is that it still started but died a few seconds later each time. It turned out to be my crankshaft position sensor. But you should check fuel delivery, make sure the engine is getting a spark as well as fuel.
It is recommened that you use premium only but you can use any fuel that you want... I wouldn't do anything with ethanol
The 1995 Metros only had a 10.9gal capacity if this helps
It shoots out a fuel source, usually a gas, and ignites it at the end. Unlike in movies, however, a fuel tank only allows about 9 seconds of use.
It comes on automatically for six seconds then should go off, if it don't you got a bad compressor or need to replace the airbags.
