just to make sure that everything is working
headlight bulbs changed, dimmer swich changed, headlight swich changed.key off headlight work low ,key on goes to brights. unpluged harness check ok at first ,but after a few try hi beam indictor would not go to low m-beam
When a cars headlights, AC, and radio are losing power, it is possible the alternator.
I would suspect a weak or failing headlight switch. Lights draw a lot of power and the power all goes thru the switch.
you can get to the low beams without taking the headlight out. same goes for high beam and turn signal....need to take healights out to change halo bulbs....bumper comes off to get healights out...yes bumper has to come off to change the halo bulbs.
Are you talking about the High Beam headlight indicator? That light is telling you your high beam lights are on. try turning off your high beam lights and see if the light goes away. If is stays on but the lights are not on high beam then its just an electrical issue, either pull the bulb out or cover the light with electrical tape if it bothers you!
When i turn on brights on my 05 impala low bean goes out
Start by removing the plastic protective cover by twisting to the right and pulling off. The low beam light is a small halogen light at the top of the two light clusters. The lower light is the high beam light (part 9005 typically). The low beam light goes into the light casing at the top under the funny dome like structure and is reflected backwards onto the light casing to create the low beam. It's a $12 part usually. One plug, one spring, no tools required for drivers side, 10MM socket to remove airscoop intake on passenger side in order to get to light cover.
12V
9006 for the low beam, 9005 for the high beam
Your electricity goes off during a blackout. Your lights flicker during a brownout
9006 low beam, 9005 high beam
probably bad headlight switch, the break light wires run through the headlight switch
