Yes - the odometer will register miles travelled while towing a trailer etc. The odometer is linked to the towing vehicle's wheels - not the trailer's.
The odometer.
Yes, modern odometers will register mileage in either direction.
This is the Canadian Link, but steps are the same when applied to the U.S. Link. Go here: https://apps.gm.ca/app/mygm/Logon.do and register for free. Then, you can download the free owners manual for the 99 Chevy cavalier. This is the U.S. Link: https://www.mygmlink.com/main/US/en/gm/home.
As long as the front wheels are down in contact with the road surface on any model or year of a Honda CRV the odometer will register. If trailered or dollied with front wheels raised, no it won't.
the sensor is in the gas tank. you probably need to replace the sensor.
I don't think so. Disconnecting the odometer is illegal, and besides, you tow a FWD car with the front wheels off the ground and in that manner the odometer does not register miles. Towing it with the front wheels touching the ground will damage the transmission. So if towed correctly this is a mute issue.
register at Autozone for a diagram or CarCareKiosk for an owners manual.
The best place to go is www.mygmlink.com, where you can register your van and then get a PDF copy of the owner's manual. Take Care also check out this site http://www.ownersmanualsource.com/chevrolet/chevrolet-venture-owners-manuals/
