Resetting the maintenance required light: Step 1 - Turn on engine. Set odometer to "Trip A" by pushing the odometer button until Trip A comes up. Step 2 - Turn off engine. Step 3 - Hold in odometer button while turning on engine. Step 4 - Keep holding odometer button until light goes off completely. Note: I've also had the tire pressure light come on. That one will reset itself after you drive away provided your tires are properly inflated.
