Judge Dredd's face was never revealed in any strips titled Judge Dredd. However a 2000AD story arc titled The Dead Manfeatured a horribly disfigured man who wandered the desert wastes. At the end of the strip it was revealed to be Judge Dredd, and that the story was all a set up for the Necropolis storyline.
