The water pipes are full of cold water. All that cold water has to be flushed from the pipes before the hot water from the tank reaches your faucet.

I have to run the water in the kitchen for long time to get it hot but the bath water gets hot fast its further away from the hot water tank than the kitchen?

The volume of water that comes out of the tub faucet is much greater than the volume of water that comes out of the kitchen faucet. Let's say that the bathroom is twice as far from the water heater than the kitchen, so twice as much water has to be run to get the hot water. If the tub faucet allows more than twice as much water to pass through, then it will get there faster.

How can you get hot water faster at all the bath room it take long time to get hot?

You could install a recirculating pump near your hot water tank and run a pipe from the furthest fixture that has hot water to this pump. This pump would then circulate the hot water back into the COLD inlet of the hot water tank and have hot water available at each fixture when you want. You would require a check valve where the recirculated water enters the cold supply to your hot water tank. CALL A PLUMBER THAT HAS FREE ESTIMATES!!!

As cold as you can. Putting it immediately into ice water and keeping it there as long as you can will reduce the size of the blister that will form.

How many gallons of hot water should you get from a 80 gallon hot water heater?

About 60 gallons , if it is new. This amount will diminish over time because of sediment build up and corrosion. And while using hot water continuously the temperature of the water will decrease as you reach the water heater capacity because it is mixing cold water with the already heated water to replenish what is lost. Thus, the modern age of tankless water heaters. If sized, installed properly you can run hot water at an exact temperature for as long as you want. Fill a tub, still have hot water, in fact, fill a pool, and still have hot water.

Why does your hot water run out quicker than it used to with a gas water heater?

It shouldn't. Gas continually heats the water very quickly, so you don't really run out of hot water at all, where with regular heating it takes a long time to heat new water. You should get the person who installed the system to doublecheck, and possibly they can explain why it is happening. It could be the dip tube of broken or you could have alot of hardness build-up in the bottom of the tank.
