I'd guess a broken motor mount. Releasing the gas pedal would change the rpm of the engine, so you may be feeling the motor shifting as a jerk.
Because you're stepping on the gas pedal.
The accelerator pedal. Also known as a gas pedal.
Letting go of the pedal or pushing the gas pedal.
NO. It has a cable.
When a throttle cable is too tight any slight tap on the gas pedal could cause the car to jerk forward. The throttle cable should be adjusted to allow more play on the pedal.
The cable is attached to the pedal when you apply pressure to the pedal it pulles the cored and then that opens the carburetor venturi, letting more gas in the moter letting the car accelerate.
it is useless to pump the gas in a fuel injected truck the pedal only controls the intake of air not the gas
One reason that your truck might start to shake when the gas pedal is pressed is because the tires could need to be balanced. The problem could also be your shock absorbers, or struts. * It has less to do with the gas pedal as it has to do with parts affected by acceleration.
When I'm driving my truck will just shut off and pick back up when I mash the gas pedal down. Why is this happening
under dash above gas pedal
False. If the gas pedal becomes jammed slip the shift into neutral, pull over when safe to do so, park the vehicle, shut the engine off then call for a tow truck or a mechanic.
