Water coming up by your head bolt (regardless of engine size) probably means you have a loose head bolt or a blown head gasket.
You need a head or intake gasket. Coolant is getting into engine. Head more likely.
There could be a couple of reasons why water is coming from a tailpipe. There could be a blown head gasket on the car or a cracked head. A small amount of moisture is a normal byproduct of the burning of gasoline in the engine.
Water coming out the tailpipe means there is water in the exhaust. This is not uncommon when the engine is cold and the exhaust is condensing. That situation should stop when the engine warms up. If the exhaust continues to have water in it after the engine is warmed up it could possibly indicate a leaky head gasket or cracked cylinder head.
Well for one you could have a cracked head. Or you could have a bad seal on your thermostat though that is were it could be coming from.
Think you may have bad head gasket, seal or cracked head. Water is getting into your engine which usually causes white smoke. Also leaking antifreeze is from these same causes. Hope this helps. Ken
Yep. Don't run it this way. This means that water is also in the oil and will ruin the engine. I found out the hard way.
theres a very good chance that the engine has a blown head gasket. what is happening is the water cooling the engine is escaping past the head gasket & into the engine, mixing with the oil making it milky coloured. the water is also escaping into the cylinders, making the steam come from your exhaust, you may also have trouble when turning the engine over, with water building up in the cylinders when cooling down.
You have either A blown head gasket, A cracked head or a cracked block, alowing water from your cooling system to enter the chamber. this will result in water also finding its way into the sump ruining the oil . stop the motor and dont run it till it is fixed. The water is coming out of the hole where the spark plugs screw in ? - Then water has gotten into the engine or is getting into the engine while driving in the rain or washing, it is unlikely that the water is actually coming out of the spark plugs themselves.
Why change the engine ? A head gasket replacement with a head skim should cure this problem & would be a lot cheaper than a engine change best wishes
The head gasket or actual cylinder head is cracked.
A blown Head gasket can cause a number of things to happen to an engine.---- 1 a loss of compression in one or more cylinders2 Engine miss loss of power.3 Water coming out of the exhaust.4 the oil starts to turn white.5 the water in the radiator spews upward when turning the engine over.6 Overheating engine.---- I think I got them all covered there.----
The water could be coming from a coolant leak higher than the plugs on the engine. Look around the head for signs of any leak as it is possible that there is a head gasket leak.
