If your 03 Trailblazer blows heat out of the back vents when set on AC sometimes, it could be because of a faulty blower motor resistor block.
My ac blows fine through the overhead, floor and side vents but intermittentely throught the front vents. What might be the cause?
Sounds like you have the beginnings of an a/c vacuum leak. Our Expedition did the same thing and eventually it defaulted to blowing out of only the heater vents, which is the default when things aren't routing properly.
If you are refering to the vents near or on the door try toggling the switches near the steering wheel. One is marked L and the other R. You can move them up or down.
it is the moter that spins the fan that blows your heat or ac out of your vents
Your average A/C unit blows heat through all vents.
The heater may not be on - but the fan still blows air through the vents when they're open !
Usually is a vacuum problem. The vacuum works through the climate controls to make the vent doors open and close.
My ac blows only in the defroster and not any of the other vents i have 98 ford windstar 3.8 v6
Check the blend door actuator.
There may be several reasons why the air only blows out the front vents and not on the floor or the defrost on the 2003 Dodge Ram. The fuses may be blown, or the heating coil is not working correctly.
This is the same on all cars. When the air flow is OFF in a section, the it blows stronger to the other vents. In this case the ones for the windshield. This makes defrosting quicker so you can start driving safely sooner.
