There are several things that could cause this. First I would check the radiator fan relay, then the fan switch, and the temperature sending unit, and finally the fan itself. Although there are other things that might cause this symptom, because the car is cooling when the heater is on points to a bad high/low relay where the fan is only coming on because the heater kicks the relay to hign and thus cools the car this could also happen with the AC being turned on. So I would start there. Hope this helps. Jason Stair
Yes , a 1995 Ford Contour should have a heater core . It is used to warm the air ( if necessary ) that comes in to the passenger compartment of the vehicle
Defective heater resistor pack.
the battery is dead and needs to be charged or replaced, or it could also be the alternator is going bad
Sounds like the tranny is gone, you'll need to replace it/have it replaced or rebuilt.
Ford Contour was created in 1995.
The curb weight of a 1995 Ford Contour is 2769 pounds.
Locate pcv valve on 1995 ford contour
Have it looked at by a professional transmission specialist.
yes it will fit
the heater core is behind the dash, most of the dash needs to come out and i would get a Chilton or Haynes book.
The Heater core is Either clogged or has gone out. If so you will notice either a leak of antifreeze or you will smell it when you turn your heater on, and your clutch needs to either be adjusted or replaced depending on how long the part has been on your car
probably the blower motor resistor
