Both are 14" wheels. Should not be any difference
i dont think so.
Generally the belt layout is on a sticker in the engine compartment near the radiator.
This was for a 1994 but try searching here. How do you Change a fan belt on 94 prizm?
Geo Prizm door handles are the same 1993-1997
On a 1997 Ford Taurus : The transaxle ( transmission for a front wheel drive vehicle ) is located in the engine compartment bolted to the engine
The 1997 Buick Riviera is a front-engine vehicle and models produced between 1979 and 1999 are front-wheel drive. Models from 1963 to 1978 were rear-wheel drive.
I can't say for sure, but I have a 2001 Prizm and called some mechanics to look into having the belt changed, and they told me I didn't need to because it has a chain. According to the repair manual from 1993 through 1997 the Prizm used a timing belt and was an interference engine. From 1998 until end of production the Prizm used a timing chain. same with its mechanical twin, the Toyota corolla.
Yes , according to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) the 1.6 liter and the 1.8 liter four cylinder engines used in a 1997 Geo Prizm ( ARE NOT INTERFERENCE ENGINES )
It will have supercharged writen on the engine cover. or you can see the supercharger's snout sticking out the left side of the engine cover. and the loud whine the car makes when you floor it..lol
