Low coolant?
Air flow through radiator restricted?
Hoses collapsing under pressure?
Defective radiator cap?
Drive slower
Drive slower!
it doesnt effect the growth, but it does damage it and cause the ends to break off and make it appear to grow slower.
no it doesnt
Overdrive lets the engine run slower at highway speeds. This saves on gas.
Replace the spark plugs and air filter. Inflate the tires to specification. Accelerate slower, drive at a slower speed, idle less. Keep the top up. Windows up, and don't use the ac.
Tire chains do not greatly affect highway driving in the snow, other than you need to drive slower to adjust. Make sure you have the proper chains for your vehicle.
In regard to Cruise, your best mileage will be to use it while you are highway driving. You can save quite a bit of gas in city driving by doing slower accelerations from stops.
overdrive ( the overdrive gear of the transmission that allows the engine to run at a slower RPM when you are on the highway )
The fan will spin slower, attempt to pull more current than it would at 60 Hz, and may therefore overheat (or blow a breaker).
Engine is running slower at idle, therefore water pump is running slower and water is being circulated at a slower speed and there is no air flow through the grill to the radiator Try flushing the coolant and replacing the thermostat. This usually helps or solves the problem. If it doesnt then your radiator is prbably clogged and not properly dispersing fluid through it. You will most likely have to change the radiator. It is possibly the coolant temp sensor is not quite right. It could just be several things. Try the flusing first. Good luck.
About one minute using the Interstate Highway system. It is faster on a motor speedway and slower in residential areas.
