Why does your 2002 Pontiac sunfire jump as if trying to accel when stopped and the ac is on and also stalls when stopped doesn't do either of those when ac is off?

The idle is designed to increase when the A/C (higher engine load) is on....see if the local library has a shop manual with a section on this idle control system...may be just a simple idle/throttle plate adjustment, also, check the timing...Good luck:)
