The idle is designed to increase when the A/C (higher engine load) is on....see if the local library has a shop manual with a section on this idle control system...may be just a simple idle/throttle plate adjustment, also, check the timing...Good luck:)
The 2002 Pontiac sunfire does not have a cabin filter. The air flows freely either in fresh air or recirculation modes.
Pontiac didn't make the Sunfire until '95. So, either you have the year of your car wrong, or it might be a Sunbird. If you can clarify this for us, we can help you.
The last model year for a Pontiac sunbird was 1995. It was replaced by the Pontiac Sunfire, which is no longer in production either.

It's the plastic cap on the front of the engine. either a 26mm or 30mm socket to open it up.
There is a button located under the steering wheel on either the left or right side. If it is not there, then it did not come equipped with one.

Horn is under passenger side headlight.Easiest to remove headlight,rather than remove horn from underside of car on passenger side. Can do it either way.
