nevermind it ended up being the ignition coil
Have you checked for fuel and spark? Fuel pumps ad burnt ignition rotors are very commen on these vehicles
Check the Ignition Module and Ignition COil
Any noticeable change in the nipple area should be checked by a doctor.
if you have changed the electric fuel pump in the tank with a delco pump also the filter and checked the module there is a good chance that the fuel pump relay on the right side out under the hood on the firewall is bad also the anersha switch may have been triped also check to see if you are getting fire at the plugs if not it could be the ignition module inside the distributor
is there spark to the plugs? is there fuel to the injectors? timing correct? check these things in order and deal with each one to find the answer. too many variables at this point, need to narrow it down
Have your ignition module and switch checked. I had the same problem and that was the answer.
pull the distubartor and have the module checked its more then likely bad i had the same problem in my 90 f150 with the 300 straight 6 i changed it and it fired right up
If your question concerns the ignition on some cylinders of a motor, then faulty ignition leads or a dirty distributor should be checked.
Coil? HEI ignition system?
You really should get your car checked.
i have a 2001 Saturn sl1 i have a miss in no 1 cyl i cave changed ingiton coil wires fuel ingetor spark plugs and checked compresson it is ok can you give me a answer
did you have your ignition coil replaced? the signs are that the ignition coil is overheating thus you are able to restart after an hour, when the coil cools. also check if your ignition coil has a resistor. if it has, have it checked for continuity. did you have your ignition coil replaced? the signs are that the ignition coil is overheating thus you are able to restart after an hour, when the coil cools. also check if your ignition coil has a resistor. if it has, have it checked for continuity.
