a dealer charges around $1400 to replace it along with the water pump, spark plugs, plug wires, distibutor cap and rotor button.
It could very well be a stopped fuel filter. Follow the fuel line from the engine to the tank to find it. I have the same problem.. replaced fuel filter, replaced dizzy cap, rotor button, ignition leads.. (all 10 of them.).. turns out my problem was the mechanic put leads 1 - 2 backwards when he replaced the rotor button. Also, the screw in my rotor button would come loose, dont know if this is a common problem... but a bit of 'plumbers tape' solved it. :)
