A malfunctioning fuel injector pump will cause the injectors to not fire properly. The fuel injector pump will need to be replaced.
Yea, a person can clean the injectors on their own. They have to use a variety of fuel injector cleaners from the store, and try the different ones after the gas tank has been filled.
It depends on the engine. Most of your 2010 engines have computer-controlled injectors. Older engines use "unit injectors" where a camshaft determines when to fire fuel into the cylinder.
no, they fire in the order of the plugs on the intake
i have a 92 mercury carpi i have fuel i have spark but will not start i do not have power to my injectors not sure where to start on how to get power please help
I believe the computer controls the grounds, not the positive. Therefore the injectors are"live"when the key is on,but don't fire till the computer grounds them.
Check spark plugs and wires
The engine computer fires the injectors. The timing of the injector pulse is determined with info from all of the senors on the engine.
No pulse signal to injectors (bad injector relay or PCM driver circuit).
It is likely an injector problem which would require you to replace the injectors.
Check the camshaft sensor. If the sensor is bad or not getting power, then the engine will not fire and the injector will not get a signal.
