most of this problem is ignition coil fail, you can test it by exchange with other one.
There are a number of reasons why a 2001 Toyota Corolla 1.4 GS engine would misfire. Coils are one common cause. Another common cause is the fuel delivery system.

Most likely issue is a motor mount collapsed. The second most likely is a misfire.
It means exactly what is says. Cylinder # 1 is misfiring and not firing all the time. New spark plugs and wires should solve the problem.
Could be a faulty spark plug or fuel injector for that cylinder. Try getting a new set of spark plugs and add premium octane fuel for a cleaner engine.

Whenever moisture is in the ditributor cap it will misfire or not start at all. Simple fix just replace the cap and rotor(suggestion) and you wont have a problem unless you need a tune up aswell, I would do it all just to get it done.
It means that more than one cylinder has a misfire history. PO301 would be cylinder number 1 misfire. PO302 would be number 3 cylinder misfire.
