If it is the Honda Pilot Factory Alarm, it goes off only when "the doors are open" or "the hood is open" while it is armed. If doors are not closing properly, or the door sensors are not operating properly (the car thinks the door is open), the alarm can go off. If all doors are fine, then turn to the hood switch that detects whether the hood is open or closed. If this switch is faulty, the car thinks the hood is open and the alarm goes off. You have these 6 things to check (5 doors and hood) and nothing else for the factory alarm.
Check your instructions, Usually you have to keep it on pilot mode for 30 seconds then you should be able to turn it to on without the pilot flame going out.
The sump pump breaker alarm will keep going off if it is being overloading. This is usually a result of a failing pump or a clogged filter.
Spillage
why does my door ajar alarm keep coming on and off while driving my car.
If battery is low alarm auto activates.
You have loose wiring or a loose ground. Can also be the battery cables are corroded.
There could be a draft causing the pilot light to go out.
Overload or short in system
Check your hood alignment sensor for the alarm and the trunk sensor
A small amount to keep the pilot light going.
There are a couple of things to check. 1.What color is the pilot flamte? If it is yellow then it is dirty and needs to be cleaned. 2. Check the thermocouple. That is the gold color rod that the pilot flame burns on. It is a safety device that tells he heating system if the pilot is burning. It is inexpensive and should be changed if you are going to pull the pilot assembly and clean it any way.
MINE IS TOO!!!! im trying to figure it out
