I'd hate to answer you with an example but, that's like asking "why is it that when you or someone you know owns a car that you either can't get off your head or just popped in your head and all you see is that car Everywhere you go?"
It is because you are thinking about them probably if not all day while trying to maintain your daily schedule for the day. So that being said: think of your day normally being ( before you saw or met your crush ) being 100% full. Well now it is only 50% full until you see him or her and it is like the world stops and your heart skips a beat.
