Take a breath and open your mind. She is not sick, that's the way she is. No choice in the matter. You did nothing wrong, she did not choose it, it is simply the way she is wired. Also, it is her life, not yours. What she chooses to do about it has no affect on you or your life. She is still your daughter, always will be and you can accept her or not. That choice is yours.
How hard do you think it might have been for her to tell you ? All she wants is for you to tell her that she is still your daughter and that will never change. You can say you don't understand it, but you will deal with it the best way you can. You don't have to march in a parade or anything, just let her know you are still her mother and things will work out.
