My best guess is the dog needs his medication adjusted. If it's on medication that is not keeping the blood sugar low enough, it will revert to polydipsia, drinking too much water, and has a painfully full bladder in the AM, or possibly a urinary tract infection. Please take dear doggie to the vet. This could develop into something serious.
I do not know if your dog is a diabetic. You will have to take your dog to the vet and have the doctor look at the dog.
Yes, Purina for example carries a diabetic dog food. It's called "Purina Veterinary Diets DCO" http://www.dogsupplies.com/pages/Diabetic-Dog-Food-And-What-To-Feed-A-Diabetic-Dog.html
Regular dog food can be very expensive sometimes, so I would imagine that diabetic dog food would cost a lot. You can actually make your own diabetic dog food. www.ehow.com/facts_5256711_dog-food-diabetes.html
When dogs are sad they do not cry, like we do. And I'm not sure why you would want to know how to make your dog cry.
