There isn't really an explanation for this. I once asked my vet and he said they know who you are and they don't want another dog coming along and marking there territory where their master was.
Cleaning old dog urine stain with vinegar and baking soda will dog urinate that area again?
Male dogs lift their leg so they can direct their urine to mark their territory. They will typically urinate on the side of a post, tree or whatever is available for them to leave their mark on.
to mark its territory or because noone takes it outside to use the bathroom.
Because the dog has urinated on the couch. Either the dog is untrained or nobody has taken it outside and the couch was the first place the dog had to relieve itself.
* Spay or neuter your dog as soon as your vet recommends. * Take care of fights or dominance issues between your dogs. * Limit your dog's ability to see outside animals from inside your house. * When urine-marking occurs, clean the area immediately. * In areas where your dog has urinated try to keep him from it or take away the attraction. * Keep things that could encourage your dog to mark out of reach. * If your pet is urine-marking in reaction to an addition to your household (i.e., a new roommate, boy/girlfriend, spouse etc.), have that person and your dog get to know each other. * Learn the signs that indicate your dog is about to urinate and watch for them when he is inside. * Use the "nothing in life is free" behavior with your dog.
you have to make them stay in that area when you take them outside. if they go in the house, tell them no and bring them to that area and point
Basic fundamental pet care includes regularly walking your dog. A pet takes responsibility. Your dog can only urinate on your plants when he is both unsupervised and unleashed outside. Both conditions are easily remedied. _____________________________________________________________________ A fence, or you could just train your dog to not pee on it.
its not trained
He or she is excited.
Unfortunately, yes. Both male and female dog urine kills grass. It is the acid in the urine that is the culprit. Since changing their diet does not help, about the only thing you can do is to immediately dilute the urine with water (a bit tedious) or have your dog urinate elsewhere.
You should start training your puppy to potty train as soon as you can. Take the dog out a lot and praise them and give them treats whenever they go to the bathroom outside. If you catch the dog peeing inside say no sternly and take them outside. Leave them out there for a while so they get that they are supposed to go to the bathroom when they are outside. Praise them when they do go to the bathroom outside.
