There is air in the entire system and the many turns in the radiator make it the likeliest place for it to become trapped and stop water flow. Properly fill and bleed the system also add automatic air vents in order to stop this from happening. If you are constantly bleeding air from the same location put an auto vent there, at least temporarily until all the air is gone.

You have to remove the bolt in the front top of the intake manifold where the top hose of the radiator goes and fill with water and squeeze the hose and you have to keep doing that until the air is removed, as the level of water goes down, keep filling with water etc. until it doesn't go down any more.
