I have had moldy tasing popcorn a few times now, it is gross. I do not know for sure what causes it, but here is my theory: I believe popcorn kernals have some moisture inside which is neccesary in getting them to pop. So I am thinking that perhaps if popcorn gets old, mold can grow inside the kernal from the moisture, making it taste moldy when it is popped. This is the only thing that makes sense to me, and it seems like whenever I have tasted it my kernals were kind of on the old side.
It might be moldy or it might be the dye.

Sometimes, when you do laundry, you don't dry clothes properly. They are slightly wet and you may not even notice it. When after that you store such clothes in your cabinet or in the closet without air conditioning, they become moldy. If you want to prevent molding on your clothes, check them after laundry, they must be completely dry.
Most food will begin to go moldy (sometimes misspelled as moldy) after a while. You can make this take longer by refrigerating it.
