labs do tend to use their mouth a lot
you must train them from an early age not to bite.
You should make sure he gets enough exercise and plenty of chew toys and bones.
Could be that he's getting his adult teeth and that it's itching.
Is your Chihuahua a puppy if so then puppies need rest just like babies do.
I'd say 5 years or so mabye 10
You should not do so. If you are concerned, take the puppy to a vet; you will probably do more harm than good by poking around on your puppy's eyes.
mine now is 3-4 weeks old and weighs 12 ounces so give or take a few punds
Your question does not have the proper information to answer. A Chihuahua puppy will certainly weigh much less than a Great Dane puppy so you need to be specific with a breed and even then it would depend on the number of pups the mother carried and the health of the mother.
its natural for dogs to chew because there teeth are in a growing stage so they chew nearly everything especially wood if you have that problem i would recomend puppy bones and plenty of chew toys they with stop chewing when they turn 1 year old. thank you. They will stop after they get out of the puppy stage
I don't think so...when buying any dog as a puppy you never know what they will grow into. My chihuahua is 5 years old and weighs 9 lbs., which is okay with me because I wanted a bigger, healthier chihuahua.
yes.... its even better if you put a little bit of warm water in their food so its easier to chew and so it will help them digest the food better
That's just what dogs do. Especially when they are bored. Also, if he's still a puppy, he may be teething. Give him one of those rawhide bones. to crap them out
All they want is stuff to chew on. Give him lots of bones, kong, tennis balls. This time is about the hardest when taking care of a shepherd puppy because they will have a strong urge to chew on EVERYTHING, even you. Make sure you never allow your pup to chew on your fingers, it won't hurt when he is very little but it sure will later so don't teach him the wrong thing by letting him.
well your puppy bites almost everything then it is just teething. I know because i have two yorkie terriers and they are almost a year old and that chew and chew and chew on everything in site well that they can reach. Like when you first bring your puppy or puppies home they will try to find something to chew on but before YOU BRING YOUR DOG HOME TRY TO PUPPY PROOF THE HOUSE FIRST like one of the main targets are your curtains and walls and most of all is the WIRES that can electric your puppy so I suggest you try to keep everything out of site that could harm or kill you puppies or dogs
