You don't mention the age of your son. For younger kids, the sexual identity is less formed than it is in adolescents and adults, so this isn't as wild as it sounds. For older kids, this behavior is more unusual. Consulting with a therapist might be a good idea at this point. However, therapist or not, it's pretty clear to me that you're concerned, and that a dialogue should commence.
I'd start with asking your son why he does this, and let the conversation proceed from there. Don't be judgemental. Don't get angry. Don't get insulting. DO explain how this behavior affects you and how it makes you feel. And most of all, don't overreact. This is not a grave pathology.
