Because the finger adds weight
Here's one way that would work: 1. Weigh a bowl of water. 2. Hold the object underwater with a piece of wire or straw and mark the higher water level with a grease marker. 3. Fill the bowl to the line with more water and weigh it again.
Yes, but the water will spill out.
what you do is an experiment. get a bowl with 3 cups of normal water. then get another bowl with 3 cups of salt water. then get some items to test it with. after you tried an item clean it and dry it. do the test more than once
okay, get some soap, a bowl, and some water. mix the soap and water in the bowl.(dawn would be the best soap) blow through the middle gently and...........BEHOLD!!! A BUBBLE!!!!!!!!!! this is the worst answer ever!!!!
Buoyancy depends only on the mass and displacement. A more massive (heavier) object tends to be less buoyant, whereas an object with a greater displacement of water tends to be more buoyant. A block of metal sinks, because it weighs more than water of the same volume. But if you were to forge that same block of metal into the shape of a hollow bowl, it would float. It's mass is the same (same amount of metal), but the shape of the bowl is such that it displaces much more water than a solid block. That is why ships made of steel can float - they displace enough water to remain buoyant. . If you were to push that metal bowl completely underwater, so that the water spills into the bowl and fills it completely, the bowl will sink, because once underwater, the bowl will displace exactly the same amount of water as the block of metal of the same mass. That is why ships sink when they take on water.
Room temperature
the dirt and bacteria you have on your finger goes to the water and if you have fishes the die

Depends on the size of the bowl, the material of which the bowl is made of, the level of which the bowl is filled, and the kind of soup...
he/she cud be thirsty so try guiding it toward the water bowl if that doesnt work then you should consult your local vet
