What types of vehicles are for sale at Kenworth Trucks?
There are many types of semi trucks available for purchase from Kenworth Trucks. A few of these semi trucks are T880, T680, T600, T700, W800 and also a W900. Kenworth dealers will also sell used trucks from other manufacturers which were traded in. Aside from selling Class 5 - 8 Kenworth trucks, some Kenworth dealerships are also dealers of Hino trucks.
What trucking company uses kenworth?
Plenty of them do. Swift Transportation has some T2000s, T600s, T660s, and W900Ls in their fleet. Navajo Expresses primarily uses the T660, T700, and T680. Stevens Transport uses the T2000, T660, T700, and I think the T680. Werner Enterprises runs some T660s. Western Distribution runs a lot of Kenworths. Just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.
How much will the kenworth t700 cost?
Not sure when you asked this question, but 120k is what you could expect for a typical base model. Currently, Kenworth is looking to shut down the T700 production line (thankfully), phasing it out for the T680. Last word I got was that there are four T700 bodies remaining, and, once they're sold off, the T700 line will be shut down. If you wanted one, you can probably get an outstanding deal on one of those remaining four.
Why your kenworth building pressure on coolant?
It would help to know which model Kenworth you have. The cooling system pressure shouldn't be more than 15 psi. On later years of the T600, the T660, the T680, some models of the T800, and some models of the W900, the radiator has two caps.. the first is the fill cap, and the second has a bung, and that is the pressure relief cap. If the pressure relief cap is faulty, it usually fails to hold pressure, although it can fail to release pressure, particularly if there is blockage in the bung itself. On Kenworth trucks which don't have this, the fill cap does double duty as the pressure relief cap. I would check those first.

What class 8 diesel tractor would you buy?
Depends on application. I wouldn't buy the same truck for severe duty, off-road driving that I would for OTR line haul use. Not to mention I'd try for something 2001 or older, in part, because that's all pre-emissions, and also in part because I wouldn't be required to have the stupid e-logs and EOBR in it. If I had to buy a brand new truck, and were going for OTR line haul, I'd probably opt for either the Freightliner Coronado or the Kenworth T680, assuming I was just pulling statutory, 80k gross weight loads. If I was doing O/D loads over-the-road, the Peterbilt 389 or Kenworth W900L would be more to my liking, although the Freightliner Coronado would do well at it, too.
How do I get to batteries on kenworth truck?
The model would help. On Kenworths, you typically have two options... either an externally-mounted battery box, which can be forward or behind the fuel tank on the driver side.... for example, on a W900, they're normally in front of the fuel tank on the driver's side, but when Swift bought a bunch to try enticing their drivers into lease-purchase circa 2004 - 2005, they had them moved behind the cab, in front of the drive axles.If you have a model with skirts (e.g., T2000, T700, T600, T660, T680, T880, etc., they're typically under the forward skirt on the driver's side. I don't remember what all fasteners you need to remove it on a T700 or T600 offhand, but for the T660, T700, T680, and T880, you need a ratchet and 17mm socket. Once you've undone those six fasteners, it pulls right off, and your battery box is there. On the T660, there's a plastic cover held in place by a rubber strap which will have to be removed.
The best semi truck in the US?
Depends on what you're looking for. If you want an aftertreatment system which holds up well, Detroit Diesel does it best.. those are only available in Freightliner and Western Star trucks. Reliability of body components and interiors, probably Kenworth (if you exclude the issues they've had with water getting in through the clearance lights on the T680 and T880), plus they also have the most dynamic platform of them all with the C500 and T800. Peterbilts are nice, if you don't mind replacing rivets fairly often. The axles, transmissions, entire air supply system.. all of that comes from third party manufacturers (Wabco, Bendix, Meritor, Eaton-Fuller, Dana-Spicer, etc.)... Mack and Volvo are the only ones who offer proprietary axles and transmissions, and, in the US market, the latter is only applicable to the I-Shift transmission... manuals are still Eaton-Fuller.

Top of the footwell, behind the clutch pedal. If you're trying to replace the cigarette lighter and power point fuses, I'd suggest you buy a set of 45 degree pliers.
