It is either 1 of 3 things:
* She just doesn't like it.Some will never bother with a wheel * The wheel is too small. You'd be surprised at the difference it made when I got a bigger wheel for one of my hamsters. He's in it constantly now! * Your hamster (this is unlikely) is ill or pregnant and doesn't feel like it. Like us. Some would rather sleep and some would rather have a nice, healthy jog.
he is probably not used to his surroundings.also they always go on it at night.dont force them do go on it.they will when they want.
he just dosent want to. my gerbils chewed mine.
1. Are you forcing the hamster in the wheel? 2. he/she can go in when they want to! 3. youre just a jackass for posting this !
Not that I know of, my hamster will be in his wheel daily and exerice for long periods of time. This is normal, this is how they get their energy out. Don't worry about your hamster it will be fine. Don't force them to go in the wheel but allow it to be in the cage they can use it at their own use.
Well... a hamster can go from 40 to 60 RPM on its wheel, so it's approximately 2 to 3 Volts.
A hamster wheel is used in the cage and is powered by the hamster its self. A hamster ball is what you put the hamster in to exercise when you are cleaning the cage. A hamster ball is heavier so would probably go a bit slower but both are actually powered by the hamster its self so it depends on how fast it goes.
The duration of The Hamster Wheel is 1800.0 seconds.

I definatly wouldn't advise using a wire hamster wheel as a hamster can get its legs in between the wheel when running.
If you get anotherfemale hamster the mother of the hammy they with fight and the female hamster will eat the baby hamster.! If you don't know if you have a female or male go to animal doctor and they will tell you if they female or male?
Yes it is.
Your hamster doesn't need to go in the ball everyday , If your hamster has an exercise wheel then you can put them in the ball when you want to. I have 2 hamsters and they both have hamster balls and i only put them in it 3 times a week at the most :)
YOU can do whatever YOU want, but keep in mind YOUR HAMSTER may not like it, and it can cause YOUR HAMSTER to NOT TRUST YOU, the next time YOU go near the wheel while YOUR HAMSTER is on the wheel it will leave! Just remember your size compared to your hamster, u would get pretty scared if someone that's nearly 1000x bigger in size to u spun your wheel while u were on it..... Try to see things from your hamster's perspective! And remember: IT'S A PET, NOT A TOY! TOYS DON'T GET HURT AND FEEL PAIN, PETS DO!
