Blown blower motor fuse? Bad blower motor or resistor? Check to see if you are getting power to motor - if so motor is bad if not check fuse and/or resistor Bad switch?
you may be out of refrigerant. (134a). go to your local auto parts store. doesnt cost too incredibly much.
if it doesn't heat your heater core is most likely clogged and if it doesn't blow at all then the blower is messed up.
no it doesnt blow up
the blower resistor is bypassed on high. a direct path to ground. if high is the only operational speed the resistor is bad.
it is located under the glove compartment. remove trim pcs--a couple of screws/panel pins. remove 3 screws holding fan in place and drop unit down and out of hole. unhook wire harness. attach harness to new unit, slide fan up and in to compartment, replace screws and panels. make sure to check 30 amp fuse for fan if if doesnt work as it will blow if power is on. Stay warm!!
Plugged evaporator? Bad fan motor?
